Italia press is such as La Repubblica, Il Post or Il Sole-24 Ore revealed a new well-established mafia network in Italy. More than 30 people were already arrested and 39 are prosecuted by italian courts.
In the “Middle World”, there is no fellowship of the ring neither Orcs. The nickname – referring to Tolkien’s mythology in The Lord of the Rings saga – refers to the network where dozen of people among business, administration and politics are involved with corruption, including the former Roma mayor (2008-2013) Gianni Alemanno.
